The project area is; 20 of the Kastamonu-Ankara highway. It is located in the south of Kmsinde Kastamonu province. The aim of the project is that irrigation can be carried out on an area of 11553 ha, and it will also meet a large part of the annual drinking water needs of Kastamonu province. The height of the dam to be built in sand-gravel embankment type with concrete coating on the front side is 107.80 m from the foundation and the total filling volume is 3.549.000 m3.
